Damodar Kunda Lake is famous for Hindu religion situated high Himalayas north of Annapurna range. The elevation of the Damodar Kunda is just 4890m, rather cold and windy places. The Tibetan plateau and Damodar Himal to the north and Annapurma Himlayan massive to south. It is three days north east walk of the main Mustang trekking route and very close to Tibetan border. Damodar Kunda lies on restricted upper Mustang between Kagbeni and Muktinath. Damodar Himal, mountain range in Nepal Himalayas, in Mustang district includes Muktinath Himal (6706m), Bhrikuti Peak (6364m). There are 65 peaks in this Himal range. Damodar kund Trekking Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival at kathmandu.
Upon your arrival at Kathmandu, you will be welcomed heartily by company representative at the airport and transfer to hotel with a short briefing session reflecting ancient local tradition, shrines and temples found over here. Overnight in Kathmandu. (1000m)

Day 2: Kathmandu sightseening Tour.
Visit World Heritage site in Kathmandu including Kathmandu Durbar Square , Patan Durbar Square , Pasupatinath Temple, Bouddhanath, Swoyambhunath ( also called Monkey Temple)as a half day trip . Overnight stay in Kathmandu (1000m/280ft)

Day 3: Kathnmandu to Pokhara.
Drive from Kathnmandu to Pokhara takes about 6 hours. You will follow Marsyandi River, gently up through heavily terraced fields and small hill towns to the Seti River that takes you directly into Pokhara passing the way full of window sightseeing of hills and mountains on the way. Pokhara is tourist’s paradise with the watchful view of different mountainous range to be seen. Pokhara lakeside villages are situated in the front row center to one of the most beautiful Himalayan panoramas in the world. You spend your whole day watching famous fishtail mountain peak of Machhapucchre tower over tropical setting of Annapurna enjoying the Pokhara city by Fewa Lake witnessing the region of Annapurna range of Himalayas.

Day 4: Fly to Jomsom and trek to Kagbeni, 3-4 hours walking.
Today your scenic flight of 20 minutes brings you at Jomsom, the district headquarter of Mustang. This large town has Kaligandaki area linking the old Trans Himalayan set trade route to Tibet. From Jomsom, it is windy in the afternoon. From Jomsom, the trek gradually moves onward on the Kaligandaki river bed for about 3 hours and finally reaching at Ekley Bhatti village. After good stop here an hour of easy walk reaches you upto Kagbeni (2858m), which lies at the bank of two rivers. Kagbeni, an interesting wind swept villages situated on the main age of old Trens Himalayan salt trade route to Tibet via upper Mustang area. On arrival, check in the hotel with afternoon free for a stroll around the village.

Day 5: Kagbeni to Chele.
Trek from Kagbeni to Chele takes about 5 or 6 hours walks starts with river bank of Kaligandaki up stream. You have scenic picturesque place to stop through the sandy and windy trails. Tis trails follows the up and downhill. Firstly, you will reach at Tangbe village with crops fields. This trek forwards to Chhusang after half hours walk and arossing the river head upto the huge red chunk of conglomerate that has fallen from the clif above, forming a tunnel through which the Kaligandaki follows. We head on to small ridges reach at Chele village (3050m) after 18 kilometers for overnight at teahouse.

Day 6: Trek from Chele to Giling.

Day 7: Trek from Giling to Ghami.

Day 8: Trek from Ghami to Tsarang.

Day 9: Trek from Tsarang to Lo Manthang.

Day 10: Explore the Lo Manthang.
Today, you have an exploration of surrounding area. Visit Namgyal Gompa and Tingkhar .Namgyal Gompa is situated on the hill top, continue to tour to Tingkhar, which is a village of arounf 40 houses. The last village to the northwest of Lo Manthang and stroll back to hotel. Even though , you have Tal Champa Lakhang ‘ God House’, the red Thugche , Gompa , Chyodi Gompa and the Entrance hall to visit which are the main attraction of this town . Next attraction of this region is the four storeyed building of the Raja’s Palace as well as the surrounding panoramic views of the Himalaya. The interesting place where you may not find to explore more ana more. There are many paces to explore and view the areas.

Day 11: Trek from Lo Manthang to Yara.

Day 12: Trek from Yara to Bas Khola.

Day 13: Acclimatization at Bas Khola.

Day 14: Trek from Bas Khola to Damodar Kunda Lake.

Day 15: Trek from Damodar Kunda to Ghechung Khola.

Day 16: Trek from Ghechung Khola to Tange.

Day 17: Trek from Tange to Muktinath.

Day 18: Trek from Muktinath to Jomsom.

Day 19: Fly back to Pokhara.

Day 20: Back from Pokhara to Kathmandu.
Drive back from Pokhara to Kathmandu with the green scenic country. Sides in both side of the road. The drive today explores you to the tremendous deciduous scenic beauty of nature.

Day 21: Transfer to International airport for your final departure by the representative.
