This wonderful Island Peak trekking and climbing take you into the heart of Khumbu Gokyo (4750m/158840ft) and Everest Base Camp (5357m/17575ft). An ascent of Gokyo RI (5357m/19216ft) and Kala Patthar (5545m/18192ft) is good acclimatization and gives you magnificent close-up views of Mt. Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse, Makalu and more. You will cross the little use of Chola pass (5420m/17782 ft) and Kongma La Pass (5535m/18159ft); ascend one of the popular peaks of Everest regions. Island Peak (6189m/20305ft) is one of the main climbing peaks of the Everest Area. This name was kept in 1952 AD due to its striking location in the middle of the Chhukung valley, like an island on the sea of ice. It was renamed Imje Tse in the early 80 through its original mane is still more popular. Island peak has an impressive highly glaciated west face that rises from the Lhotse Glacier.

Detail Itinerary

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu then transfer to Hotel.

Day 02: Kathmandu Sightseeing & free.

Day 03: Kathmandu – Lukla (2800m.) by flight & trek to Phakding, 2652m.

Day 04: Phakding – Namche Bazaar 3440m.

Day 05: Namche Bazaar rest for Hiking, acclimatization & explore.

Day 06: Namche Bazaar – Thyangboche 3867m.

Day 07: Thyangboche – Pheriche 4343m.

Day 08: Pheriche – Lobuche. 4930m.

Day 09: Lobuche – Kala-Pathar 5545m. (Everest Base Camp) & back to Lobuche.

Day 10: Lobuche – Dingboche 4243m.

Day 11: Dingboche – Chhukung 4800m.

Day 12: Chhukung – Island Peak (Imja Tse) Base Camp.

Day 13: Island B.C – High Camp 5500m.

Day 14: High Camp – Island Peak summit 6198m. & back to Island B.C.

Day 15: Island B.C. – Dingboche.

Day 16: Dingboche – Phuko Thanga.

Day 17: Phuku Thanga – Phakding.

Day 18: Phakding – Lukla free and explore.

Day 19: Lukla- Kathmandu by flight then transfer to Hotel.

Day 20: Kathmandu shopping.

Day 21: Last minute, transfer to Airport for your onward journey.
