Detail Itinerary

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu and transfer to hotel.

On reaching Kathmandu international airport received by our staff and guide with a warm welcome then transfer to your hotel in the center of Kathmandu city, after getting refreshed in your rooms join for group briefing regarding your stay in Nepal, where guides will provide information about the trek-local lodge-hotels-culture and other necessary information related to this trekking.

Day 02: Free day in Kathmandu trek preparation with an optional tour around world heritage sites.

In Kathmandu, a free day preparation for trekking with optional sightseeing around Kathmandu, as the valley is steeped with many world heritage sites and important monuments and religious-historical sites.

Day 03: Fly or drive to Pokhara 860 m (30 mins on air) -06 hrs overland ride.

The morning after early breakfast transfer for a long drive of 5 to 6 hours of exciting drive to reach the scenic city in Pokhara, located Nepal Mid-West a warmer country but with incredible views of Annapurna Himalaya that reflects on its calm Begnas and Phewa Lakes. On reaching Pokhara then transfer to a nice hotel by the lakeside of Phewa Lake, with to wander around the lakeshore full of stores, shops, restaurants, and hotels. (For interested people can take 30 minutes of scenic flight to Pokhara from Kathmandu).

Day 04:  Drive to Dhampus 1,540 m - 02 hrs, trek to Potana 1,895 m - 03 hrs.

Morning short drive takes you beyond Pokhara valley to reach at the foot of Dhampus Hill at Phedi, located on the road of Pokhara and Beni Highway. From here starting our first day walks with a gradual climb for few hours past rural farm fields and villages to reach on top of a hill ridge at Dhampus village with the spectacular panorama of Annapurna-Dhaulagiri-Manaslu with towering Machhapuchare Himal or Fish Tail peak, After enjoying super views walk to Potana village along with views of Annapurna peaks then our route leads to climbing reaching another scenic spot at Deurali for overnight stop facing tremendous views of Annapurna Himalaya.

Day 05: Trek to Kokar Forest camp 2,515 m via Deurali 2, 050 m - 05 hrs.

Catch lovely morning views of Annapurna range and then taking a slow climb into forest to reach at Deurali situate above 2,050 m high rewards you with super views of scenic landscapes and mountains, from here our route diverts away from the main trail heading into hidden pockets of Annapurna Himalaya to reach Forest or Jungle Camp also called Kokar located in the midst of beautiful forest. 

Day 06: Trek to Low Camp 2,968 m - 05 hrs.

From Forest Camp, morning walk leads higher on the uphill path with a steep climb to reach a pasture land for an overnight stop on route Mardi base camp at Low Camp also called as Badal Danda, a high ridge with a couple of nice simple lodge facing super views of surrounding landscapes and mountains at close range.

Day 07: Trek to High Camp 3,710 m - 05 hrs.

From peaceful spot, morning walk leads with climb into dense woods of tall rhododendron-hemlocks-oaks-magnolia and pine trees, as walk slowly follows the hidden trails within tranquil environment with glimpse of peaks and then heading closer to mountains where tree lines stops for short alpine bushes and shrubs with dwarf rhododendron known as azalea, junipers and Burberry  facing towering Machhapuchare Himal ‘Fish Tail’ with Mardi Himal at close distance. Slowly walk leads to high ridges at High Camp for an overnight stop, afternoon enjoy marvelous views of grand landscapes and snow-capped mountains. 

Day 08: At High Camp for a hike to Mardi Himal base camp above 4,495 m.

Another overnight stop at High Camp, where hike takes you at the base of Mardi Himal, walks follows a faint trail on the high ridge of Mardi Himal facing grand panorama of Annapurna Himalayan range, leading at the bottom of Mardi Himal located right beneath the towering peak of Machhapuchare ‘Fish Tail’. Here great views and on the highest spot of the adventure above 4,495 m high within mountains and then retrace walk back to High Camp for last overnight around high Mardi Himal area.

Day 09: Trek to Low Camp - 06 hrs.

From High Camp enjoying wonderful time around high hills of Mardi and Annapurna Himalaya, where morning walks leads on the same path retracing the journey back at Low Camp for an overnight stop.

Day 10: Trek to Landruk village 1,520 m - 05 hrs.

Morning from Low and High Camp with last day around Mardi Himal areas as walk takes you on the new fresh trail within forested areas on a gradual winding path and then descend to a large Gurung village at Landruk with views of Annapurna South and Huinchuli peaks. A nice place for an overnight stop and explore the village and witness the local Gurung traditional farm life.

Day 11: Trek to Chomrong 1,955 m - 06 hrs.              

From Landruk morning walks downhill on the stone paved steps all the way to reach at River Modi, after crossing a bridge on nice trail with short climb past Jhinu village, where few hours climb reaches you at Chomrong, a large Gurung village as well last permanent farm settlement on route to Annapurna Base Camp and Sanctuary.

Day 12:  Trek to Dovan 2,130m via Bamboo 2,050 m - 06 hrs.

Morning at Chomrong facing views of Annapurna peaks, where walks heads with short descends to cross a bridge over Chomrong stream and then climb to Sinuwa, located on a high ridge with a couple of Tea-House and shops. After a short refreshing stop at Sinuwa where walk leads to forested areas with winding ups and then downhill into dense woodland within bamboo stalks to reach at Bamboo, a small settlement to cater the needs for trekkers with many good lodges to stay, located in a river gorge surrounded by forest of rhododendron trees with pines and bamboo. From Bamboo, walk leads on gradual ups with an uphill to reach at Donovan for an overnight stop, located above Modi River in a gorge a small place with few lodges for travelers.

Day 13:  Trek to Machhapuchare Base Camp 3,720 m -06 hrs.

After a peaceful overnight at Donovan, our adventure heads closer to our highlight as walk leads with winding ups into the forest to reach Himalaya Hotel, located close to a large overhanging cave called Hinko, which is beneath Annapurna South and Huin-Chuli peaks. From Himalaya Hotel downhill near Modi River and then short climb reaching Deurali, here onward tree lines drops for short alpine bushes after Deuarli walk continues with climb following Modi River to Machhapuchare base camp for an overnight stop after a long day walks. Machhapuchare Base Camp located at the bottom of Machhapuchare Himal ‘Fish Tail’ North Face.

Day 14:  Trek to Annapurna Base Camp 4,130 m - 04 hrs.

After overnight stop at MBC (Machhapuchare base camp) an easy and short morning walk to reach at Annapurna base camp, from Machhapuchare where Annapurna Sanctuary begins all the way to base camp, walk leads with short ups to reach a flat ground on a plateau reaching into Annapurna Sanctuary enclosed within a series of giant peaks, and then walk leads you right at Annapurna Base Camp. Reaching our final destination and the highest point of the adventure at 4,130 m high situated beneath towering Mt. Annapurna and range of other peaks of Vara-Shikar, Gangapurna with Annapurna South. Annapurna Base Camp, the only base camp in all Himalaya regions having the facility of the nice and cozy lodge with nice food menu and rooms facing grand views of Annapurna peaks.

Day 15:  Trek to Bamboo 2,050 m - 06 hrs.

Today a long walk after enjoying beautiful views of mountains at Annapurna base camp, walk leads to more than six hours on the downhill with few short ups to reach a Bamboo place for overnight stop within back into tree lines and lush vegetation.

Day 16: Trek to Tadapani 2,630 m - 05 hrs.

Morning walk leads past farm village of Gurjung to reach a bridge over Kimrong River, and then climb into cool rhododendron and pine forest as walk continues heading past few cattle herders shades and grazing land, with few hours steep climbs to reach Tadapani, located in the midst of the lovely forest with grand views of Annapurna peaks.

Day 17: Trek to Dobato 3,349 m - 04 hrs.

At Tadapani morning offers stunning sunrise over a chain of peaks, having breakfast where walk leads in the hidden path away from main trails and villages for some days. As walk progress and then climb into forested areas to reach Dobato facing tremendous views of Annapurna peaks, a peaceful spot in the middle of a forest.

Day 18: Trek to Kopra Ridge 3,870 m-06 hrs. 

On leaving Bayeli where heights gains slowly leaving tree lines behind where few hours of scenic walk reach you at Kopra ridge for overnight stops, offers scenic views of landscapes facing a massive range of Mt. Dhaulagiri with Vara Shikar (Annapurna Fang), Annapurna South from this wonderful spot. 

Day 19: Rest day Khopra Hill and Hike to Khayer Lake 4,620 m /15,157 ft.

Morning hike to holy lake at Khair Lake at an altitude above 4,620 m, a long day hike, but worth the views of giant mountains, a religious site where festival held annually around the month of August to worship and prayer to Lord Shiva and bathe in the icy waters, sacrifice sheep and goats, after a great moment head back to Khopra ridge for overnight stops.

Day 20: Trek to Sauta village 2,200 m - 05 hrs.

Enjoying great walks within hidden areas of Annapurna remote wilderness from Sauta village onwards, morning facing great views of Dhaulagiri-Nilgiri’s with Annapurna Fang (Vara-Shikar) on the downhill to Chistibung a small farm place. After this lonely spot back to green vegetation and tree lines as walk leads to long descend to reach a nice farm village of Santa with views of Dhaulagiri range.

Day 21 : Trek to Ghorepani village 2,880 m - 05 hrs.

From Santa village where walk leads on main trail at Chitre with steep climb into woodland to reach Ghorepani located rhododendron forest with fabulous views of Mt. Dhaulagiri, Annapurna South, this village where all houses painted blue that blends with its beautiful surrounding, with many good lodges at the base of Poon Hill, populated with Poon people of Magar ethnic tribe.

Day 22 : Hike to Poon Hill 3,210 m and trek to Tirkhedhunga 1,460 m.

Early morning start with an hour hike to Poon-Hill at above 3,210 m and 10,531 ft high, facing stunning views of the sunrise over a range of mountains from Mt. Dhaulagiri, Mt. Manaslu to Annapurna extends far towards Ganesh Himal includes Mt. Machhapuchare “The Fish Tail”. After an enjoyable view of mountains with striking sunrise walk back to Ghorepani and then continue trek downhill to Tirkhedhunga village, where the walk lead within the ice cool forest with long descend from Ulleri village to overnight stop at small nice farm village Tirkhedhunga with beautiful waterfalls.

Day 23 : Trek to Nayapul and drive back to Pokhara 860 m - 5 hrs.

Day 24: Drive or fly back to Kathmandu and transfer to hotel.

Having early breakfast where interesting drive brings you back in Kathmandu, as drive departs from Pokhara (either tourist coach or in private vehicles), as journey leads past many nice farm villages and town, from Mugling Bazaar following Trisuli River for sometimes, and then on winding uphill to reach into Kathmandu valley as well back to your respective hotels.

Day 25: Depart Nepal for international flight home-ward bound.

We will be happy to arrange your hotel accommodation in Kathmandu and Pokhara as per your interest and budget. Thus, please inform us in advance about the type or category or price range of accommodation that you would like to stay in.
