Yala Peak climbing trip lies in the Langtang valley north of Kathmandu. It is Nepal's one of the easiest trekking peaks and suited for anyone with trekking experience, just to the north of Kathmandu in the beautiful Langtang valley of rich grazing pastures and Tamang people. Climbing Yala peak you don't require mountaineering experience. Start your journey from Kathmandu and drive to Dhunche or Syabrubeshi, and then trek up the valley for establishing a high camp at 4800m from where we make our summit bid. After an alpine start under stars, we are on the summit by late morning, you will have stunning views of Langtang Lirung (7246m), Lenpo Gang (7083m), Dorje Lakpa ( 6990m) and mighty Shishapangma ( 8027m) with amazing views into Tibet.

Detail Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu, transfer to hotel, a day at leisure.

Day 2: Day at leisure/ Hotel.

Day 3: Drive to Dhunche (1950m) and stay at camp.

Day 4: Trek to Syabru (2200m).

Day 5: Trek to Lama Hotel (2500m).

Day 6: Trek to Langtang (3100m).

Day 7: Trek to Kyangching Gompa (3750m).

Day 8: Excursion to Tserko RI (5033m).

Day 9: Trek to Yala Peak Base Camp (4800m).

Day 10: Yala Peak summit (5500m).

Day 11: Free day.

Day 12: Trek to Ghora Tabela (3050m).

Day 13: Trek to Syabru (2200m).

Day 14: Trek to Sing Gompa (3300m).

Day 15: Trek to Dhunche (1950m).

Day 16: Dhunche drive back to Kathmandu by bus or private jeep.

Day 17: Free day for shopping or relax.

Day 18: Drive - Airport for return flight.
