Chulu East Peak Climbing

Trip Overview

Chulu East Peak Climbing is combined with a classical trek around Annapurna massif, ascending Marsyandi valley and crossing the Thorungla, before descending the Kali Gandaki valley to Pokhara. This climb is technically straightforward and you should be familiar with the use of equipment, crampons, harness, ice ax, tying knots, and handling climbing ropes. Most of the climbing will be involved walking roped together, including the glacier crossings. You can get a very estranged and natural fit of climbing the mountain from this part. The North East Ridge is considered the normal route to climb this peak from a Basecamp on the Moraine at 5334m. Most climbers make it to the top and back from Basecamp in one long day although some have established a higher camp somewhere below the peak. Chulu Far East (6059m) may also site from this part.

There exists significant disarray concerning the name and area of the Chulu  Peak and what summit really comprises Chulu West and Chulu East, since it is before long ends up obvious to anybody that has moved in the range that few different summits near to, which are entire of the Chulu massif, are not shown on present maps of the region. South it is encompassed by the Marsyangdi River and the Mesokanta La. Numerous climbers are befuddled with regards to the care area of these two crests as the range has at least 4 summits in the prompt region, which are plain in maps of this territory. Typically comprehended that with the grant to climb the East or West pinnacle an endeavor could be made to the adjacent top also.
