1. Rara lake at Mugu District

Rara Lake is the biggest and deepest lake (2,990 m) in the Nepal, it contains fresh water. It is the main feature of Rara National Park, located in Jumla and Mugu Districts. Rara was declared a Ramsar site in September 2007. The area of Rara lake is 1,583 hector.

The rara national park offers a sample of region's flora and fauna. We can find more than 214 types of birds, 500 types of flowers, 20 types of mammals in Rara National park.

2. Pokhara
