Tharpu Chuli peak Climbing also called as Tent Peak Climbing is one of the adventurous and famous trekking peaks in the Nepali Himalaya range. This peak climbing has a nice central position in the popular Annapurna sanctuary trek.  Tharpu Chuli offers us panoramic views of the Himalayas including Annapurna, Hiunchuli and others. Tharpu Chuli Peak climbing (Tent Peak) offers an amazing Shangri-La of the entire Annapurna.

This trip trip starts from Kathmandu through Naya Pul located near Pokhara, the beautiful ‘Lake City’. Reaching the base camp of Mt.Machapuchhre gives us another good reason to choose the Tent Peak (Tharpu Chuli) Climbing trip.

Tharpu Chuli (Tent peak) is located in the Annapurna sanctuary. The sanctuary is an amphitheater, with a range of impressive Himalayan peaks forming a vast bowl, accessible only from the south through Modi Khola River Valley. The immense south face of Annapurna south (7291m) situated at the head of Annapurna south glacier, guards the western flank of the sanctuary. Right in the middle, this all is Tharpu but also seeing ranges of mountain scenery. Tharpu Chuli is such peak where surrounding peaks are presented in all their glory from the summit. The south face base camp of Annapurna is the fine ascent to the climbing teams, not only to the enjoying. This is not an easy crossing. It involves the steep descent onto the glacier through very rough ground among the confused mass os loose rocks of all sizes on the glacier floor. It takes almost seven hours to reach to advance camps; however, you are rewarded with breathtaking views all the way. The advance camp is roughly at 4500m, just on the snowline. This climbing offers one of the outstanding viewpoints of the Annapurna massive. From the summit of this climbing you can see the superb panorama of Huinchuli (6331m/26771 ft ) , Annapurna south ( 7219m/ 23684 ft ) , Fang ( 25089 ft ) , Gangapurna(24459 ft ) , Annapurna 3 ( 7555m) , Machhapuchhre( 22943 ft ) and of course Singu Chuli or Fluted Peak ( 21329 ft ).
