Overview

Yala Peak which is (5,732m) is an easy and adventure trekking and peak climbing in Nepal. It is the practical climbing peak in the Langtang region, that lies in north of Kathmandu. It is combined with wonderful Langtang Valley trekking. Yala Peak Climbing provides the wonderful views of Himalayan ranges of the Manaslu range, Langtang Lirung, Dorje Lakpa, Naya Kang, Ganesh Himal range, Shishapangma and Gangchempo. Yala peak is situated closer to the Tibetan border following the ridge of high mountains. Climbing Yala peak you don't require mountaineering experience. 

The trip starts drive from Kathmandu to Syabru Bensi and then trek up the valley for establishing a high camp at 4800m from where we make our summit bid. After an alpine start under stars, we are on the summit by late morning, you will have stunning views of Langtang Lirung (7246m), Lenpo Gang (7083m), Dorje Lakpa ( 6990m) and mighty Shishapangma ( 8027m) with amazing views into Tibet. 

Yala peak climbing is mountaineering trip that goes through the Langtang National Park. It is prosperous with natural scenes, stunning landscapes, red blooming rhododendron along with Snow Leopard and Red Panda in the fauna. Kyanjin Monastery (3900m) is a popular Buddhists pilgrimage spot, where climbers wish to visit it before peak climbing. The yala peal base camp lies at Yala Kharka (4600m) on the Yak grazing meadow.

Detail Itinerary

Day1: Arrival in Kathmandu and transfer to the hotel

One of our representative will receive you at Kathmandu Tribhuvan International Airport and transfer to your hotel. After your time to settle in and freshen up after your long flight, we all meet our office for a briefing about the trip. Meeting with trekking guide and discuss necessary matter and we will process for the trekking permits. If you arrive at night, we will have the same discussion in next day morning after breakfast.

Day 2: Preparation for the Program and sightseeing tour of Kathmandu

After your breakfast, one of well experience city tour guide will pick you from your hotel and leave for a sightseeing tour around Kathmandu valley. You will visit Pashupatinath Temple (Hindu temple), Swyambhunath temple (Buddist temple), UNESCO World Heritage sites. After you return to your hotel, you will have time to explore the local area, have dinner stay overnight at hotel.

Day 3 : Drive to Syabrubesi - (1400m) - 7hrs Drive

Early in the morning, after your breakfast we start drive from Kathmandu to Syabrubesi, which takes about 7 hrs. We will pass through Tirsuli River and from the bank of the river we can see the fascinating view of white snowcapped mountains like Mt. Annapurna II, Manasalu, Ganesh Himal, and other minor peaks along the route and as well as green scenery of hillock, rivers, and village. Syabru Besi is a cool place, overnight at the lodge on full board meal.

Day 4: Trek to Lama Hotel - (2470m) - 6hrs Trek

Early in the morning we start walk, crosses through the Bhote Koshi River flowing down from Tibet and following the Langtang Khola It keeps up to Rimche through Bamboo where we fallow the bank of Langtang river, you can stop at Rimche for overnight at Rimche (2400m) because of good views. On this route can be seen bears, Monkeys & red pandas. Overnight at lodge on full board.

Day 5 : Trek to Langtang Village - (3430m) - 6hrs Trek

This day is continuous walking day that starts with a gentle climb, but it soon becomes steeper, climbing through wild forests of hemlocks, oaks, maples, and white and pink rhododendrons high above the Langtang Khola. Glimpse of snow-capped peaks starts appearing along with a fleeting view of Mt. Langtang Lirung (7244m) through the trees. The trail leads to a log bridge, and on climbing further, we come across lush meadows of Ghora Tabela (2992m).

Day6 : Trek to Kyanjing Gompa - (3870m) - 4hrs Trek

We start walking after breakfast, it is easy & short day trek. It takes about three to four hours. After crossing several small streams with wooden cantilever bridges and moraines, you can finally see the monastery of Kyanjin Gompa and the dramatic icefall flowing from the peaks of Langtang Lirung and Kimshung. This is a really beautiful valley & where plenty of the explore sights. Stay overnight at lodge.

Day 7 : This is Acclimatization Day

This day is rest day, we take rest and plan for climbing. While you are here you may want to explore the local area. At Kyanjing, we will visit the Cheese factory & monastery too & you can buy cheese. It is possible to climb the small hill to the north of the village at the height of about 14,107ft/4m. Overnight at lodge on full board meal.

Day8 : Trek to Yala Peak Base Camp - (5033m) - 6hrs Trek

Today we will reach to the Yala base camo, this is 6 hrs walk from Kyangjin Gompa. From the Base camp, we can see the view of mountains like Naya kanga, Tserko RI, Yala Peak Ganchempo etc. And Overnight at Camp.

Day9 : Summit Yala Peak - (5732m) - 7hrs Trek

Wow! Celebration day, we wake up early in the morning after breakfast, we start Yala Peak summit, we can see the fascinating views of Dorje Lakpa, Naya kanga, Tserko - Ri, Shisapang, Ganchenpo, Langtang Lirung, and many other Tibetan mountains.  After having some rest, we return to the Kyanjin Gompa and stay overnight.

Day 10 : Trek back to Lama Hotel - (2470m) - 5hrs Trek

We will trek back to Lama hotel and stay overnight.

Day 11 : Trek back to Syabrubesi - (1400) - 5hrs Trek

Trek back to Syabrubesi and stay overnight at hotel.

Day12 : Drive back to Kathmandu

Early morning after your breakfast we drives back to Kathmandu and transfers to the hotel. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 13 : Rest day and shopping day

You can do shopping various Nepalese cultural stuff on this day take rest. And stay overnight in  hotel.

Day14 : Departure Day

Today is your departure day, we will drop you to the International airport to catch your flight back to your home and pray for your Safe journey. or plan for next trip as per your wish.
